are that you must drill through. If granite is indicated in the area you wish to drill in you will need to use a
DTH (down hole hammer) which requires a very large air compressor, a pneumatic oiler and/or high
pressure water/foam injector for the hammer, and very good quality drill steel. Combination mud/air
hammer water drilling rigs, depending on the drilling depth, borehole size, and the size air compressor
used can easily cost over $100,000.00 usd.
